Service Manager Organizational Messaging | USCG TISCOM, Alexandria, VA | Aug 2016 – Present

In charge of the USCG’s Organizational Messaging System. Worked closely with the U.S. Navy and how the Coast Guard interacts with the Navy’s Organizational Messaging system. Ensured that 1,000 operational and administrative organizational messages were delivered to all registered users and associated shared mailboxes on a daily basis. Subject matter specialist on organizational messaging. Created user and technician guides for usage and administration for use across the Coast Guard.

Lead Shop Technician | USCG Headquarters, Washington, DC | Jul 2014 – Aug 2016

Maintained 3 networks that supported operations for Coast Guard Headquarters and 9 remote offices in the Washington DC Metro Area. Ensured that all network switches met the current security policies set forth by the Coast Guard. Was the Tier 2 support for 4,000 users while overseeing 10 technicians. Supervised the management of the largest Coast Guard wireless network, which was located within the USCG Headquarters building.

Lead Shop Technician | USCG ESD Cape Cod, Buzzards Bay, MA | Jul 2014 – Aug 2016

Maintained two networks that supported operations for thirteen remote sites. Ensured that all network switches met the current security policies set forth by the Coast Guard. Was the Tier 2 support for two thousand users while overseeing six technicians. Over saw the upgrade of thirty network switches while also upgrading the backbone infrastructure to a ten gigabit.
